An electric vehicle charging station, also called EV charging station, electric recharging point, charging point, charge point, electronic charging station (ECS), and electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), is an element in an infrastructure that supplies electric energy for the recharging of plug-in electric vehicles—including electric cars, neighborhood electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.
A lot of faster charging at higher voltages and currents than are available from residential EVSEs. Public charging stations are typically on-street facilities provided by electric utility companies or located at retail shopping centers, restaurants and parking places, operated by a range of private companies.
DC Charging stations provide a range of heavy duty or special connectors that conform to the variety of standards. For common DC rapid charging, multi-standard chargers equipped with two or three of the Combined Charging System (CCS), CHAdeMO, and AC fast charging has become the market standard in many regions.
Russian EV Charging Infrastructure is built up in EV Charging Service in Russia markets. As a professional and first EV Chargers Manufacturer in China, MIDA POWER provides AC Chargers, CHAdeMO and CCS DC Fast Chargers, to electric Vehicles charging Markets from all over the world.
Currently, the government and Petrol and energy group companies encourage the EV charging business, including Europe, Russia, America and other countries, such as Russian EV Charging Infrastructure.
CHAdeMO CCS Rapid chargers are the fastest way to charge an EV, often found at motorway services or locations close to main routes. Rapid devices supply high power direct or alternating current – DC or AC – to recharge a car as fast as possible.
Depending on model of 50kW, 100kW, 150kW and 350kW, EVs can be recharged to 80% in as little as 20 minutes, though an average new EV would take around an hour on a standard 50 kW rapid charge point.
Power from a unit represents the maximum charging speed available, though the car will reduce charging speed as the battery gets closer to full charge. As such, times are quoted for a charge to 80%, after which the charging speed tails off significantly. This maximises charging efficiency and helps protect the battery.
